Ted has spent many hours over the past 15 years researching and editing music for Gerry’s Concert Jazz Band. After studying the scores and parts he realized that, like any art form, the arrangements continued to evolve even after the score was finished. The exhaustive process has produced arrangements that are as close to the recordings as possible. The MMBB plays these versions and has recorded some on Live at the Jazz Showcase. Preserving these arrangements is important to Ted and one of the primary aspects of the Mulligan Mosaics Big Band.
